ESG in the real estate industry
In keeping with the ESG theme and together with
our partner for this edition, GOLDBECK, the second edition of the Braunschweig
Real Estate Roundtable featured two exciting keynote speeches followed by stimulating discussions and a
joint breakfast.
Marvin Young and Tobias Lökenhoff, two specialists from GOLDBECK, gave presentations on ESG and DGNB in the construction industry. Lukas Littmann (Wattif EV) provided exciting insights into the topic of destination charging for real estate.

i-strategy is also very satisfied with the second event and summed up afterwards: “The lively discussion that followed
showed that ESG is a highly topical issue and will continue to be a major concern for the real estate industry
both now and in the future.”

Top topic of the first edition:
Real estate financing
There were three keynote speeches on the hot topic of commercial real estate financing. Anja Künne-Janosch, regional manager of the Hanover-Braunschweig group, presented the association Frauen in der Immobilienwirtschaft e.V. (Women in Real Estate).
This was followed by lively discussions on the projects presented by Natascha Wessling (Strukturförderung Braunschweig): the renovation of the Braunschweig City Hall and the conversion of the Burgpassage.
Finally, Dirk Seikowsky from i-strategy, part of the i-unit group, provided insight into the topic of “Real estate financing – banks are tightening their lending requirements.”
Dirk Seikowsky from i-strategy is very satisfied with the first edition of the Braunschweig Real Estate Round Table and summed up: “We can look back on three successful 15-minute keynote speeches followed by networking in a pleasant atmosphere.”

Dirk Seikowsky worked for 30 years at various banks in the Magdeburg, Braunschweig, and Hanover region. Most recently, he was responsible for commercial real estate financing on the banking side.
At i-strategy, he will continue to expand the real estate division. He has a large network of banks and investors and will further develop the real estate division through strategic partnerships and collaborations.
